Wash hands prior to handling the MATERNIMATES dressing.

Open package and remove dressing from its carrier sheet. Save the carrier
sheet.

Place the "cup" side of the dressing onto the nipple area. (The dressing
is naturally contoured like a contact lens for a perfect fit over the nipple
area. It fits nicely inside of a nursing bra and does not need additional
securement.)
4.
When it is time to breastfeed, remove dressing from nipple area.

Rinse* (do not soak) the dressing with warm water. Then pat the dressing
dry. Always place the dressing on a clean surface (carrier sheet is suggested)
with the "cup" side facing upward. (For additional cooling comfort, dressing
may be stored in the refrigerator during breastfeeding.)
* Do not use soaps or detergents
to clean the dressing, as this may compromise the integrity of the dressing.
After feeding several times, check to ensure that the dressing does not
become cloudy or "milky" in color. Once this occurs, discard the dressing
and use a new one. (Due to the unique formulation of the dressing, you
may get up to 3-7 days use before a new dressing is needed.)
