Are
you pregnant, planning to get pregnant and still breastfeeding? This
is a very nutritious tea, great for you to keep up your health and a good
alternative, as our Nursing
Mothers' Tea is not for pregnant mothers.
Main
Constituents:
Red
Raspberry Leaves: contain calcium, magnesium, and iron, Vitamin
C ? E. This is an excellent womens' herb, often used during pregnancy
to relieve morning sickness, strengthen uterine muscles for labor, and
slow bleeding after birth. Raspberry also increases breast milk.
Alfafa:
rich in chlorophyll and vitamin K which promotes clotting. It also stimulates
the appetite, aids digestion, and increases breast milk.
Nettle:
is a rich source of iron, calcium and folic acid, nourishes the kidney
and adrenals. Also rich in Vitamins A, C, D, K. It helps clear
up anemia, eases leg cramps, prevent postpartum hemmorhage and increases
breast milk.
Fennel:
This
aromatic seed is a good digestive herb for both in Mom ? Baby. Drinking
it during pregnancy helps alleviate heartburn problems and after birth,
it passes through your milk while breastfeeding to settle your baby's
*wind* problems. It is also known to help maintain breastmilk supply.
We
also add rosehips to boost your intake of Vitamin C and to boost your immunity
to illness.
You
may choose to drink our Mothers'
Nutritious Tea 4 Two during your pregnancy but add more red raspberry
leaves to your Tea 4 Two Herb Blend in your final month of pregnancy to
prepare for the birth.
Some
women mix the Tea
4 Two blend with extra
red raspberry leaves and honey for the nutrition and sustained energy
to drink throughout the last trimester and even in the hospital. Some make
it ahead of time and freeze it into ice cubes to suck during labour.
Put
about 1 to 2 teaspoons to a mug. Using a teaball would be useful.
Steep with hot water for about 15 minutes. You can also drink it
HOT - the warmth is relaxing and helps in letdown. But the chilled
tea is really refreshing!
Please
store the dried tea in an airtight container in the freezer to keep the
herbs dry and fresh.
1 packet
of Tea is approximately 50g.
