 This
Dry Ice Substitute is of a 3 or 4-ply. The 4-ply sheets has Plastic
on both sides and can be reused many times. The 3-ply sheets has
Plastic on 1 side and Textile covering on the other side. This one is designed
for usage up to 2 to 3 times only.
It is a durable
dry ice replacement that can stay frozen or very cold for a period of days
versus hours and can be re-used several times. This High-Tech Ice is safe
and non-toxic for direct contact with foods, and hence good for keeping
your expressed breastmilk chilled. Simply great for mothers on business
trips, mothers who need to further cool down their freezers, or mothers
who need to use their cooler boxes as a fridge substitute.
It comes in a large rectangular sheet of 24 separate cells. This gives
it almost unlimited flexibility to fit and mold into virtually any sized
surrounding! You can be assured of the superior capability of this IceSheet,
and with it being the same product supplied to and trusted by airline and
courier companies in transporting frozen, chilled & perishable products,
without having to use dry ice. For optimal performace, use One 15.5"
X 11" sheet per 7 litres of icebox capacity.
The ice sheet can also be heated in your microwave doubling its use as
a hot pack for keeping foods warm or as a heating pad for muscle pains
and sporting injuries.

NOTE:
The
4-Ply Ice Sheets
are of the Techni-Ice Brand and come in 4 sheets of Pre-cut A5 Size (6-cells)
(sizing
of A5 is half that of an A4-sheet of paper) |

Fill sink halfway with warm water. Submerge Ice sheet while "scrunching"
it as shown to the left to release air bubbles. This allows water
to mix with the polymer as the sheet swells up. Leave sheet fully
submerged for at least 4 to 6 minutes for it to further hydrate. Return
to product and "scrunch" for an additional 30 seconds or as needed. Cells
should now have expanded and be ready for freezing or heating in your microwave.
DO NOT allow the cells to become FULLY inflated. The cells must still
be soft enough with enough space for you to press and make indents in the
cells. Cells that are FULLY inflated may tend to burst on freezing.
Remove from water and towel dry to ensure that any excess water does not
become ice on the outside during the freezing process.
