Baby TJ's stories
is a collection of 4 fully-illustrated stories, reflecting the lives of
Baby TJ and his family. This is an early reader, great for children from
4 to 8 years of age. It educates a young child in the beauty and normality
of breastfeeding and living in a family that believes in attachment parenting
values like bed-sharing. It also helps the reader identify with steps in
growing up.

The series of Baby
TJ stories are written by Sarah Cheng, who was 7 years old at the time
these stories were written. Sarah had also won a prize in a local
story writing competition that same year.
The first Baby
TJ story was born during the time when we were trying to get her little
brother Timmy out of diapers. "Baby TJ's Stinky Diapers" was thus
written to encourage Timmy not to wear diapers anymore. The layout
and drawings were all done by her and simply clipped together in a book
format. It was such a cute homemade storybook that I casually commented
that she should do a series of stories on Baby TJ. Sarah was so excited
by the idea that she then went on to write a whole series of 7 stories
at one time! Here in "Baby TJ's Yummy Milk", you can share in 4 of
the stories. This storybook has been selected by the National
Library for inclusion in their children's collections.
As the theme of
the stories are on breastfeeding and attachment parenting, we pledge to
donate all sale proceeds to breastfeeding groups, to help further their
work in promoting breastfeeding here in Singapore.
